We write in detail in which control unit a certain coding can be found.
This is written behind the coding as '...codable in...'.
Possible control units are e.g. CAS, KOMBI, FRM, etc. (so they always have abbreviations).
Coding is based on pre-installed functions of your control units.
If a codable feature is not available in the app, but coding is basically possible for your car, then either your ECU does not support this codable feature, or our app cannot do this coding.
The lite version of the app already shows which encodings would be possible in the full version.

VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda:
The challenge of coding with VAG vehicles is that we cannot determine exactly which control units are installed in your vehicle based on the available data.
Therefore we do not know exactly which functionality is offered.
This is due to the modular principle of the VAG Group (e.g. MQB platform) in-vehicle electronics. For example, a VW Golf VI is not like any other VW Golf VI - completely different control units could be installed.
Therefore we do not offer a list of VAG codes.
At Mercedes there are unfortunately no codable functions which we could activate with our app.
In Mercedes vehicles these options are missing on the control units from the manufacturer.
Unfortunately, this is basically the case with all Mercedes vehicles.
Therefore, we do not offer any encodings and cannot develop them in the future.
Currently our other brands are too new in our list of supported cars, so we can not offer any coding functions yet.
In the future we will, of course, develop new functions such as coding, if there is the possibility to activate or deactivate such functions for a vehicle brand.
At the moment, we are first checking which brands have the greatest demand, then we will continue to develop our app.
If the required ECU to encode is greyed out or missing completely, then your ECU software is not supported yet.
Unfortunately, it is impossible for us to promise you exactly when we can implement it.
If the encoding you are looking for is not listed on our website, we will be happy to include it as a suggestion for potential future encoding enhancements/updates.
In this case, send us a request and describe which code we can develop for which vehicle. We will then include them in our lists as a proposal.
